Structural Indicators as an indication of commitment to take action, refers to the existence of institutions and policies and laws aligned with the international child rights laws and for the realisation of children’s rights. |
1. A national government child rights agency or ministry is mandated by law to prepare the State Party reports under the Convention and to make them widely known to the public, including children. 2. A national coordinating mechanism exists between various ministries (horizontally) and levels of government (vertically) to coordinate the preparation of State Party Reports, to disseminate them and follow up of Concluding Observations across all public institutions and in consultation with civil society. |

Process Indicators refers generally to efforts made and actions taken, following on from commitment, and thus to specific activities, resources and/or initiatives in pursuit of rights’ realisation. |
3. Average time to dissemination of the State Party Report and Concluding Observations of the Committee, by method of distribution and audience (in weeks). 4. Number of academic publications and media reports (e.g. TV, social media, newspaper, radio, magazine, etc.) reporting on the State Party’s Child Rights reporting process. 5.
